Why Not Print the Chat Page?

Why do equations come out as \frac and \sqrt when I paste ChatGPT elsewhere?
ChatGPT writes math in LaTeX, like \( x^2 \) and \[ \frac{a}{b} \], and its chat window renders that for you. When the text lands anywhere else, the raw LaTeX shows. This converter renders it again: display equations become typeset vector graphics in the PDF, and inline math becomes readable text such as x².
What is the difference between the copy button and selecting text?
The copy button gives you markdown, with the math as LaTeX source. Selecting and copying gives formatted text, where every equation is duplicated as rendered characters. This page accepts both: it reads the LaTeX back out of a selection so equations are not doubled.
What are the odd symbols or "cite" markers in copied ChatGPT text?
When ChatGPT searches the web, its answers carry hidden citation markers. They can survive a copy and paste as boxes, stray characters, or brackets like 【4†source】. The converter removes them before building the PDF.
