Email clients are stricter than browsers. Gmail strips <style>blocks, Outlook renders with Word's layout engine, and dark mode can invert colors. The output here is written for that environment:
- Every style is inline on its element, so nothing depends on a stylesheet.
- Tables use plain borders and cell padding that Outlook respects.
- Text uses the system font stack each reader already has, falling back to Helvetica and Arial.
- Code uses a monospace stack with a light background that stays readable.

Why are the headings smaller than in a document?
Email headings are sized for a message, not a report. A 32 pixel title looks out of place in an inbox, so this tool uses modest sizes and a standard email font stack.
